Tim Davey is director of economic development services at Timmons Group, a Chesterfield County-based multidisciplinary engineering, design, and technology firm that designs infrastructure and real estate projects.

In his role, Davey specializes in economic development services for both public and private clients. He has been a vital part of the central Virginia real estate community for over three decades.

He has managed projects spanning comprehensive site selection, complex urban infrastructure, brownfield redevelopment, integrated mixed-use development, and residential, commercial, and industrial site development. His technical background in private land development, water/ wastewater, environmental, and stormwater engineering allows him to effectively lead multi-disciplinary teams and deliver on fast-moving, high-profile projects.

Beyond the technical aspects of his work, Davey is committed to the communities he serves, understanding that lasting economic development depends on outcomes that benefit residents and businesses alike. That community-first mindset drives his collaborative approach and his continued investment in the region's long-term growth.

Davey has played a key role in bringing numerous companies to the Richmond region, with high-profile projects including LEGO, Lumber Liquidators, Stone Brewing, Amazon, Medline, Rolls-Royce, CoStar, and Meta/Facebook. He has also been integral to some of the region's most significant economic development sites, including Meadowville Technology Park, White Oak Technology Park, and, most recently, the redevelopment of Spring Rock Green into the new Springline at District 60 hub in Chesterfield.
