Ronald J. Lauster Jr. brings over three decades of construction industry experience to his role as president of W. M. Jordan Company, where he has been a pivotal figure for 28 years. The company is a construction management and real estate development firm operating across Virginia and the Carolinas.
Starting as a project engineer, his dedication and expertise in supporting his clients and team facilitated his ascent within the company.
As president, Lauster sets the overall direction for the company, oversees daily operations, while fostering a culture built upon continual learning and improvement. He believes that investing in people and providing opportunities for them allows W. M. Jordan Company to grow and excel, now and in the future.
After obtaining his associate degree at Tidewater Community College, Lauster earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Technology from Old Dominion University. In 2018, he completed Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program, through its Executive Education program. He also is an alumnus of the CIVIC Leadership Institute of Hampton Roads.
In addition to his passion for continual education, Lauster is a champion for the community, supporting growth and involvement through numerous nonprofit organizations. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Virginia Chamber of Commerce, Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce (Executive Committee Member), and Bon Secours Hampton Roads Foundation. He is president of Greater Peninsula NOW, and is co-chair of the AGCVA Associated General Contractors of Virginia, Foundations for the Future Steering Committee.
