Peter Coyne serves as chief operating officer and group president for The Old Dominion Group, a Virginia-based specialty contractor serving nationwide industrial and commercial clients.

Prior to joining The Old Dominion Group in 2024, Coyne served in general management and strategy at Steel Partners and Danaher, following his career start in private equity and investment banking.  He has served as a board member to community and educational organizations.

Coyne earned his Bachelors of Science in Chemistry from William & Mary and his MBA from The University of Virginia Darden School of Business. He has enjoyed serving in leadership positions with both institutions..
