I. Lee Chapman IV is president and chief executive officer at Davenport & Company LLC.

He began his career in the financial services industry in 1993 with Nations Securities. Chapman joined Davenport in 1995 as a portfolio manager with Davenport Asset Management.

Chapman is a member of the CFA Institute and SIFMA.

He currently serves on the MCV Foundation Board of Trustees and the SIFMA Advisory Council. His past board service includes the St. Christopher's School Foundation board of directors, Junior Achievement of Central Virginia board of directors, The Richmond Forum board of directors, and the Virginia Foundation for Independent Colleges Board of Trustees.

A native of Richmond, he graduated from the University of Virginia in 1992 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English.
