Ashley H. Peace is the director of construction for Tract, which develops master-planned data center parks with access to pre-positioned power and fiber in key markets where hyper-scale and wholesale demand are high. Tract is developing a 1,211-acre stretch of rural land east of Ashland for a planned data center park.

Peace is an experienced and accomplished real estate development and construction executive, who has successfully spearheaded numerous high-profile, complex projects and initiatives across industrial, multifamily, retail, office, and master planned communities.

During her tenure as head of Development and Construction (president) at Richmond-based Sauer Properties Inc., Peace demonstrated strategic leadership by overseeing real estate acquisitions, development, construction, asset management, and operations. Notably, she spearheaded the Phase I development of a 383,000-square-foot Class A mixed-use project anchored by Whole Foods Market.

In previous roles, Peace served as the director of Real Estate Development for HHHunt Corporation, managing the development of new construction apartment and senior living communities throughout the East Coast. She also played a key role in the U.S. entry of grocery retailer Lidl, overseeing real estate acquisitions, land use development, and construction throughout the Southeast developing a portfolio of 85 multi-market sites for ground-up construction of retail grocery stores.

Peace served on the Planning Commission for Hanover County. She is active in several industry organizations including the Richmond Real Estate Group, Greater Richmond Association for Commercial Real Estate, and CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), and served as a member of VCU’s Real Estate Circle of Excellence and Virginia Tech Blackwood Program in Real Estate Industry Advisory Board.

Peace holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from Virginia Commonwealth University and a B.S. from Virginia Tech.
