Amber Tillman leads Public Affairs for Google’s data centers in North and South America. She works in the Richmond region.

In this role, she focuses on building and executing strategies to support Google's AI infrastructure growth and development. This includes market development and proactive engagement with key stakeholders to ensure a long-term, sustainable license to operate in communities where Google operates. 

With a background in state and local public policy and stakeholder management from previous roles at Meta and Chevron, Tillman is an expert in navigating complex political landscapes to advance business objectives.

She is a graduate of James Madison University and lives in Richmond.

Google has invested more than $4.5 billion into its data center campuses in Loudoun and Prince William counties, and, in August 2025, announced an additional $9 billion investment in Virginia through 2026 including a data center campus in Chesterfield County. Google also owns the Dunant subsea cable that comes ashore in Virginia Beach from France.
