Donald Graul is the chief executive officer at Branch. With more than 38 years of construction industry experience, Graul has an extensive background in operations, business development, organizational management, and business turnarounds.

In his short tenure with Branch, he has grown the company's backlog to a record level, as well as sales and gross margin. He has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska, and both construction and design profit and loss experience on some of the largest projects ever undertaken.

Graul was nominated and accepted into the National Academy of Construction in 2019 and is widely known throughout the engineering and construction industries. He serves in leadership capacities on several professional organization boards, including ARTBA, CIRT, Beavers Construction Organization, and Habitat for Humanity in the Roanoke Valley.

He has been recognized as one of the Virginia 500: Most Powerful and Influential Leaders by Virginia Business magazine for three consecutive years.
