Hans VonKruger is a senior vice president and Private Client Advisor with Bank of America Private Bank in Norfolk.

In that role, VonKruger works closely with high-net-worth individuals and families to help optimize and manage their wealth. By identifying a client’s primary goals and needs, he and his team coordinate local resources and the national capabilities of Bank of America Enterprise to help clients reach their objectives.

He leads a team of Bank of America Private Bank specialists who work in concert to design and implement tailored financial strategies in investment management, trust and estate planning services, liquidity event strategies, lending and philanthropy.

VonKruger has worked in the financial services industry for 32 years.

Prior to joining Bank of America Private Bank in 2025, he spent the past eight years serving as the local market executive at Bank of America in Hampton Roads where he was responsible for connecting the banking and investment resources offered through the bank’s eight lines of business to individuals and companies across the region.

Previously, he was a district manager with JP Morgan Chase.

VonKruger obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from California State University, Northridge and a graduate certificate from the Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at Furman University.

He currently serves on the boards of The Chrysler Museum, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeast Virginia, Eastern Virginia Medical School Foundation, and RVA757 Connects.

Hans also serves as a committee member on The Chrysler Museum’s Native American Advisory Council and the Hampton Roads Chamber’s Military Advisory Council (HRMAC). He was named to the Virginia 500 Power list by Virginia Magazine in 2023 and 2024.
