Thomas J. McInerney has been Genworth Financial, Inc.’s president and chief executive officer and a director since January 2013.

Before joining the company, McInerney served as a senior advisor to the Boston Consulting Group, and he spent more than 30 years as a senior executive at Aetna, Inc. and ING Group.

McInerney also serves on several other not-for-profit boards including United Way Worldwide and the Global Research Institute at William & Mary.
